Asset Deployment and Allocation

The appropriate deployment of assets across different classes of stocks, bonds, real estate and alternative investments is the largest determinant of the success of an investment plan.  Unlike most investment boutiques, we have no preference for a proprietary growth or value stock picking strategy. Instead, our investment plans systematically deploy a client’s money across the full spectrum of attractive investment opportunities in U.S. and International markets. Some of those strategies are managed internally, such as our U.S. Core strategy, while others such as small capitalization stocks or foreign stocks are managed by third party firms whom we engage and monitor on behalf of our clients.

We perform research on all of the major equity, fixed income and real estate markets to determine the appropriate mix of investments.

We are not a “market timing” firm but we do make adjustments to client portfolios based on the relative valuation of the asset classes based on historical and analytical data. If an asset class is considered overvalued, the exposure to that asset class may be reduced. Conversely if an asset is trading at a discount it may be emphasized within the portfolio. The goal of the allocation process is to reduce risk and enhance the ultimate purchasing power of the client’s assets.

Our current asset allocation strategy is summarized under the Current Outlook Section.
